Become an ambassador
Being a relay for wellbeing in your community, with training and a kit.
- Training
- Beforehand, and required. The role is never held before it, ever.
- Commitment
- A regular presence, not constant availability. You are reachable neither at night nor in an emergency.
- What you receive
- A communication kit in both languages, and a named contact within the platform.
Ambassadors are community relays: leaders of associations, heads of organisations, diaspora representatives. They are often the first people someone turns to when things go wrong — long before a website or a professional comes into it.
The role
Listening, without having to carry it alone. Knowing where to point. Passing information around a community that would not go looking for it.
What is expected
A regular presence, not permanent availability. You are not a support professional, and the platform will never ask you to be one.
The training path
Online training, in short modules, each one ending with a check. It covers listening, the limits of the role, the signs that call for guidance, and the resources available in each territory.
Recruiting without training would be a fault. Training always comes before the role.

Four subjects, in short modules
A relay presented as one without having been trained carries a responsibility nobody taught them, in front of people who trust them because the platform named them. Training always comes before the role.
-
Listening — Receiving an account without interrupting it, correcting it, or having to solve it.
-
The limits of the role — Where what a relay can do stops, and how to say no without abandoning the person.
-
The signs that call for a referral — What tells a hard patch apart from a situation that needs a professional.
-
The resources of your territory — What exists near you, what has been verified, and how to read it.
What does the module on listening cover?
The first module is the longest, and it is the one that most changes how you answer someone.
What the module teaches
- Receiving an account without interrupting or correcting it.
- Restating it to check you understood, without interpreting.
- Recognising what puts you, personally, in difficulty — and saying so.
What it does not teach
- No support technique: that is a different profession.
Note
- The module is checked on a real-life scene: you read it, and you pick the course of action you would take. No answer is written freely.
What does the module on the limits of the role cover?
This is the module nobody skips: it is the one that keeps a relay from burning out, and it protects as much as the listening module does.
What the module teaches
- Where what a relay can do stops, and why that limit protects them.
- How to say no without abandoning the person.
- What to do when you are approached outside your hours.
What it does not teach
- No emergency procedure: that belongs to immediate help and to the numbers of your own country.
Note
- The module reopens on request, as often as you like, with no further check.
What does the module on the signs that call for a referral cover?
The module teaches how to refer, not how to assess. That difference is the whole role.
What the module teaches
- What tells a hard patch apart from a situation that needs a professional.
- The signs that call for a referral without delay.
- How to refer without frightening anyone.
What it does not teach
- No assessment grid and no numeric threshold: that is not a relay's work.
Note
- The module points back to the resources of the platform, never to a personal judgement.
What does the module on the resources of your territory cover?
This module depends on the town you name when you apply: the directory is not the same from one country to another.
What the module teaches
- What exists near you, and what has been verified.
- How to read a resource entry: opening hours, language spoken, cost of the call.
- How to report to us a number that no longer answers.
What it does not teach
- No list to learn by heart: it changes, and the directory is the reference.
Note
- The module reopens each time the directory for your country is updated.
What you will never be asked
Three things that are not a relay's work
-
Supporting someone
The role stops at listening and referral. What comes after belongs to the professionals of the platform, and is not handed on.
-
Being reachable in an emergency
No duty rota, no personal number circulated. Emergencies belong to immediate help.
-
Recruiting on our behalf
The role carries no target. Nobody will ask you to bring in members.

Training always comes before the role. This form opens the application; nobody becomes a relay on the day they send it.
This cannot wait?
If you are going through a hard moment right there, right now, you do not have to come through us. Here are the immediate help resources for your territory — open with no account, and readable even with no connection.
