A value that changes nothing in the service given is not a value, it is a declaration. Here are the eight we hold to, and what each one requires.
What does “Reach” demand of the service?
Content is free. Sessions follow a solidarity rate. Pages are light enough to open on 2G, and the site aims at level AA of the international accessibility rules — tested, not declared.
What does “Kindness and respect” demand of the service?
The tone is never commanding. No content lays blame, no result is presented as a verdict. Here, nobody will ask you to be fine.
What does “Culture and identity” demand of the service?
Content is rooted in the realities of the communities we serve. Cultural readings of mental health — the place of the family, of the community, of faith — are acknowledged without being judged. The structure of the site is ready for Wolof.
What does “Confidentiality” demand of the service?
Reading, informing yourself and taking stock ask for neither an account nor an identity. What you entrust to the platform stays on your device. This is not a moral undertaking, it is a technical impossibility.
What does “Invention and reach” demand of the service?
The site works offline for the essentials, and offers a data-saving mode that genuinely reduces what is downloaded.
What does “Education and prevention” demand of the service?
Educational guides with a constant structure, full transcripts for the podcast, and a guidance directory in which every entry carries the date it was checked.
What does “Solidarity and community” demand of the service?
Talk circles, a network of trained ambassadors, mentoring between people who understand one another.
What does “Rigour and professionalism” demand of the service?
A qualified team, introduced with its training. No invented figure, no story published without its author's time-stamped agreement.
